Mike Trout returned from the injured list on July 8, 2026 - exactly 15 years after his MLB debut - and celebrated with a 438-foot homer that helped the Angels crush the Rangers 13-1.

Trout hit the homer in the eighth inning, putting the Angels up 11-0. The blast came off an 88.4 mph changeup from lefty reliever Robby Ahlstrom, which Trout shot back at 110.4 mph to left-center field.

Jo Adell added two home runs for the Angels. Rangers starter MacKenzie Gore gave up seven runs in five innings, while Angels starter Walbert Ureña walked five batters in four innings but didn't allow a run. macnevers-and-co.beer
