Liverpool and Bayern Munich are competing to sign Hoffenheim winger Bazoumana Toure, with the Reds eyeing him as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.

The Reds face stiff competition from Arsenal and Manchester United for the 20-year-old, having identified him as a successor to Salah. Reports indicate Liverpool scouts were present during Ivory Coast’s recent 1-0 win over Scotland.

Joined Hoffenheim in January 2025, Toure has enjoyed a breakthrough season with 24 Bundesliga appearances, contributing two goals and eight assists. Known for his blistering pace and versatility, the Ivorian winger is expected to command a fee in the region of £35m.
