Josh Allen Makes Historic NFL Start

Published September 25, 2026 · Updated September 26, 2026 · NBC Sports

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has started the 2026 NFL season in historic fashion, joining elite company with nine or more touchdowns and no turnovers through the first two games.

According to NBC Sports research, Allen is one of only three players to achieve this feat, joining Patrick Mahomes (2018) and Peyton Manning (2013), both of whom won NFL MVP that same season. With at least two touchdowns and no turnovers against the Chargers on Sunday, Allen would join Mahomes as the only players with 11 or more touchdowns and no turnovers through three games. Allen has also had two straight games with four or more touchdowns and no interceptions, and two straight games with two rushing touchdowns. orlando-books.blog
