J.J. McCarthy Joins Giants, Role Unclear

Coach John Harbaugh has confirmed that Jameis Winston will start at quarterback this weekend against the Cardinals. The Giants have not specified whether McCarthy or practice squad QB Jake Haener will back up Winston.

The team acquired McCarthy after giving up a fifth-round pick, with Harbaugh calling him 'very talented' and stating he will make the team stronger. Winston completed 14 of 22 passes for 118 yards in last week's 12-7 victory over Tennessee, as the Giants managed only 238 total yards with no touchdowns, relying on kicker Dominic Zvada's four field goals and a late interception by safety Jevon Holland to secure the win. sportbet.reviews
