Dodgers Tap Skubal For NLDS Game 1 Start

Tarik Skubal, the Dodgers' big midseason acquisition from Detroit, will get the nod in Saturday's contest at Dodgers Stadium. The left-handed ace initially struggled after joining the two-time defending World Series champions but regained his form, finishing the regular season 3-2 with a 2.52 ERA in eight starts. chickenroad.qpon

The Dodgers (93-60) are in the postseason for the 14th consecutive season, tying the Braves' record. Skubal's start could allow Yoshinobu Yamamoto or Blake Snell to pitch Game 2, while the Braves' starter remains to be seen, presumably Chris Sale.
