Crutchlow retires early from Italian GP with shoulder injury

Cal Crutchlow's return to MotoGP was cut short by a muscle tear in his left shoulder, forcing an early retirement from the Italian Grand Prix after just 10 laps.

The British rider, substituting for injured Johann Zarco at LCR Honda, completed only 10 of the 23 laps at Mugello before pulling into the pits. The shoulder problem brought a premature end to his first grand prix appearance in three years. afrikasportnews.co.za
