Caglianone, Rice Commit to 2026 Derby

Kansas City Royals slugger Jac Caglianone and New York Yankees' Ben Rice have officially committed to participate in the 2026 MLB Home Run Derby on July 13 at Citizens Bank Ballpark in Philadelphia.

Jac Caglianone, a 23-year-old Royals rookie with 14 home runs this season averaging 418 feet, will make his first Derby appearance. Ben Rice, who leads the Yankees with 26 homers, will aim to become the first Yankees player to win since Aaron Judge in 2017. His father, Dan, will throw to him in the contest. The event is part of the 2026 MLB All-Star Game festivities. hilogame.news
