Bucs sign rookie WR Matthew Henry

The Buccaneers signed undrafted rookie wide receiver Matthew Henry on Tuesday, placing defensive lineman Deshawn McKnight on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.

Henry, who played college football at Western Kentucky, started all 13 games for the Hilltoppers in 2025, catching 55 passes for 888 yards and six touchdowns. He earned All-Conference USA second team honors after his collegiate career that also included stops at Western Illinois and Livingstone College. ipltable.lol

The Bucs need help at wide receiver after injuries to Emeka Egbuka, Jalen McMillan, and Tez Johnson. Henry went undrafted in April and participated in rookie minicamps with the Titans and 49ers before joining Tampa Bay.
