Braves place Acuña on 10-day IL with hamstring strain

Atlanta Braves placed star right fielder Ronald Acuña Jr. on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to a strained left hamstring.

Acuña left Saturday night's game against Colorado in the second inning after pulling up while running out a ground ball and grabbing his hamstring. The five-time All-Star and 2023 NL MVP is batting .252 with two home runs and seven steals in 34 games.

The Braves activated right-hander Spencer Strider from the injured list before Sunday's start. They optioned Hunter Stratton to Triple-A and selected outfielder José Azócar's contract to fill the roster spot. albergomalica.it
